Back-office automations for a property manager
A US property manager runs fee checks, bid requests, check registers, listing checks and daily task lists on autopilot.

The problem
The team ran on AppFolio and Property Meld, plus a lot of checking by hand. Was the minimum management fee charged? Did a unit marked ready actually get posted for leasing? Which maintenance requests had no due date? Each check was small, but together they ate hours every week.
What I built
One automation at a time, each for a single job. Apps Script checks minimum management fees, sends bid requests to vendors, tracks move-outs, flags owners who need to add funds, and fixes missing due dates and links in Property Meld. A daily checklist builds itself at 5:00 AM, color-codes today’s tasks and lists what was left undone.
Small AWS Lambda jobs pull the check register from AppFolio and email it as a CSV, and check every “ready to post” unit and raise an alert if it isn’t listed anywhere. A dashboard turns Property Meld data into repair speed, satisfaction and spend charts.
The result
Checks that used to depend on someone remembering now run on a schedule. Staff get a short list of exceptions, not a pile of reports.
